It’s been over two years since the Covid-19 outbreak. How do you feel now? Uneasy? Exhausted? Or, frustrated? The pandemic has changed everything. While we thought it’s under control, the new variant might just start spreading to the other side of the world. When it’s been happening over and over again, we have learned how to coexist with it, just like symbiosis in biology.
The beginning of this piece recalls the tension and fear as the whistleblower, Dr. Wen-Liang Li sent out the warning before passing away. After over two years fighting COVID, I pray against the fear of this pandemic, and hope to see the light at the end of the tunnel, like the end of this piece.

過去這兩年，你感受到了什麼?恐慌?疲乏?還是無奈?2020 年 COVID-19 在全世界 爆發至今，一切都變了。好不容易習慣新的步伐，一旦變種病毒來襲，人類的防守總 是一次又一次的被迫重整腳步，在這樣的循環之中，讓我更深刻體會生與死、強與 弱、貧與富的共存。而當世界還在對抗病毒之際，俄烏戰爭的發生，也點出善與惡、 民主與獨裁的共存。人世間所充滿的衝突與矛盾，就宛如生物界的各種共存關係。此 曲「共生」，透過描繪生物界中「寄生」、 「互利共生」、「片利共生」、「偏害共 生」、「競爭共生」、「無關共生」，進而表達人與人之間時而單純、時而複雜的相 互關係。同時，也期盼在我們共同歷經不安與驚恐之後，寧靜能早日如願到來
